I don't consider myself to be a hyper-competitive person. But I have to admit, I remember being thrilled about beating you in the competition to see who would represent our school at the spelling bee in the first grade. I went on to take first place, beating out all the other first graders from a bunch of other schools. So really, you never stood a chance.
