7 am on December 31st - the wife wakes you and tells you she's in labor. You know it's going to be a very long year-end closeout.
Everyone, meet Simon.
He's 9 pounds and 11 ounces of pure baby goodness. Welcome home little guy. You may have been late, but we're just glad you showed up. We love you little guy.
Thanks to everyone for all your kind words and well-wishes.

We just had our second daughter (six weeks early) December 1st, so welcome back to midnight feedings, burping, spitups, etc. It's amazing what I've forgotten about in two years.
How cool is that - a New Year's Eve baby!! Now every year he'll think the whole world is throwing a huge party for him.
Congratulations - he's beautiful. Very exciting!
Congrats!!!! He's lovely.
Hooray!!! Congratulations! I love the name. Was he born on Dec 31, or Jan 1? Either way, congratulations!
