Lions and pirates and parents pimping out their kids for candy, oh my
I used to hate it when I was little and my mom referred to my friends as my "little friends." Anyway, Henry went trick-or-treating with a couple of his little friends on Halloween night. As you can see, the pirate costume was popular with the white single-digit-aged demographic this year. Ye be clickin fer larger view says I. To thee. Regarding that.

Very cute! I mean, Rar!
I love it! Little kids costumes are the best and cause me to hand out an entire bag of candy to them. My son (age 7) was a pirate too, but as they get older, they add things to the costume. My son added a skeleton costume under the pirate costume and then ripped it in places so he could be an undead pirate.

Since our last family birthday party, I have been permanately banned from any kind of pirate talk so I will just say that Henry is adorable!
We tried and tried to get Jackson to do the costume thang to no avail. Unless he gets to personally select a shirt and a pair of stylin' shoes from amongst a plethora of options there's simply no chance he will participate. Maybe if Halloween had been more like a GAP fashion show. One with cars. And balloons.

So all it takes is a cool eye patch to make a costume? And to think I went through my closet pulling out all of my Adidas clothing and last years Batman cape to go as Adidas Man!
Next year I'm so getting an eye patch.
